After more than three years the Travcult crew is finally back to our favourite spot in Bali, the quaint yet energetic village of Ubud. There are many reasons why we love Ubud, it would be near-impossible to list all of them. In fact, what’s not to like about this piece of heaven on earth? Located at the northernmost part of the Singapore Botanic Gardens (SBG), the Singapore National Orchid Garden boasts the largest display of tropical orchids in the world. Its roots began with the orchid breeding program in 1928, and when the SBG was opened in 1959, a dedicated place was given to house the orchids. Now, over 600 species and hybrids of orchids can be found in the Orchid Garden.
