New Year 2011

The Travcult crew would like to wish all our readers a Happy New Year!

As each year draws to a close, it is normal to forward to the next one by reading predictions of what is coming in the New Year. This time round, it may seem that there is little to look forward to in 2012; considering all the rumours about the end of the world, both in the metaphorical (economic crisis) and literal (‘Mayan prophecy’) sense. We at Travcult, however, agree that no matter what happens next, it must not dampen our spirit of adventure and discovery.

2012 could possibly be filled with economic and other challanges, but the crew believes in the words of wisdom “every cloud has a silver lining”, and that we shall all emerge better and stronger at the end of the day.

On the other hand, if the so called Mayan doomsday prophecy is true, then 2012 is the perfect opportunity to travel and take that long vacation you always dreamed of. After all, we have less than twelve months to savour all the wonderful things in this world.

So let us cast aside the doom and gloom, and welcome the New Year with a renewed sense of optimism and an unbroken resolve to put in our best and make 2012 a better year. We would like to wish everyone all the success they need in their endeavours; may the New Year bring new hopes and new opportunities for everyone.
